Getting on a jet ski is easier than most people assume. You need no prior experience, no boat licence and no particular fitness level. The only requirement is a minimum age of 18 years to operate one yourself. First-time riders are fully guided throughout by a qualified skipper.

What a Jet Ski Charter in Cape Town Includes

Our jet ski sessions in Cape Town depart from the Oceana Powerboat Club on Haul Road in Green Point. The club is a short distance from the V&A Waterfront precinct. The rate is R3 080 per jet ski per person per hour.

Sharing is available at an additional R440 per person. Our fleet includes up to four machines per session. A group of friends or family members can book several jet skis and ride together at the same time.

We provide life jackets for all riders. Wetsuits are not included, but you can bring your own. Wear comfortable clothing you can get wet in. A towel and a camera are worth packing too. Your skipper can take photos for you during the session.

How Jet Ski Sessions Are Supervised

Every session runs under the close guidance of a qualified skipper. All our staff hold RYA and SAS accreditation, a recognised standard of on-water training and competence.

Before heading out, your instructor will go over the controls, speed management, steering and safe riding zones. This briefing ensures you understand the equipment before you set off. Once on the water, your skipper stays nearby for the full hour. Our skipper also supervises guests waiting for their turn on the powerboat.

Who Can Book a Jet Ski Charter in Cape Town?

Jet ski charters in Cape Town with us are open to solo riders, couples and groups. Up to four machines are available per session, so larger parties can ride together in one booking.
